What You Can Write About
Corrections. This is the one I most want to hear about. If a verse is attributed to the wrong poet, a transliteration is off, or a translation misses the sense of the original, please tell me. Include the page link and what you think it should say. Corrections are made promptly and noted on the page.
Requests. Looking for a particular poet, theme, or occasion that isn’t covered yet? Send it over. Reader requests shape a good portion of what gets published here.
Attribution help. A lot of Urdu poetry circulates online with no author attached. If you can identify the source of a verse published here as unknown, that’s a genuine contribution and you’ll be credited if you’d like.
Copyright concerns. If you hold rights to material published on this site and believe it has been used improperly, write in with the page link and details of the work. It will be reviewed and removed or credited as appropriate.
Collaboration and business. Guest contributions, partnerships, and advertising enquiries are welcome. Please include details of what you have in mind.

- Can I share verses from this site? Yes, for personal use. A link back is appreciated.
- Can I republish a full collection on my own site? Please ask first — the explanations and translations are original work.
- Will you write a custom shayari for me? Not currently, but theme requests are always welcome.
Response Time
Messages are usually answered within two to three days. Corrections are prioritised over everything else.
